New Account
Your invite email may come from a company named Zoho or directly from IT staff. Remember to check your spam folder if you can't find it. Please log in to the website and set your password. It will also ask you the time zone during setup; we are on USA Central time AKA Chicago time.
App
From the email website, press the gear icon and enable IMAP in "Mail accounts" settings. (Full instructions here. This direct link to the setting may work.) You can then log in via the standard mail app on all of your devices. Zoho may recommend that you install the Zoho Mail app, but this is not required except for advanced collaboration features like shared inboxes or streams. We have set it up so any modern mail client should auto-detect the correct connection settings.
Alternative Clients
For desktop PCs we recommend NOT using the free Windows Outlook app because it has been caught mixing advertisements into the email list.

- Vivaldi (This is a web browser which also has a built-in mail client.)
Files
The files app is our collaboration system. It provides shared folders, note & document editing, to-do lists & kanban boards, and telecommunication. It is available primarily as a webpage and a desktop PC file sync app, but there are also other various mobile apps available, including a chat and call app named "Talk".

Your invite email will have "Shanti Group" in the subject. If you just received a new email address, we should be sending the invitation there.
App
The files app is powered by software called Nextcloud and you can use their apps, available here, to make the system more accessible on your devices. The most important one is the Files app for desktop PCs because it lets you sync your files to a folder. Do not download the "server" files; that is our responsibility. When signing into the apps, they will first ask for the address of the website (above) since the apps are not made specifically for our company.
